No, while the core of our content is for beginner swimmers, BGSC is for black women at all stages—from beginners to confident swimmers interested in swimming, watersports, travel and wellbeing.

BGSC started out running swimming lessons in partnership with B.O.S.S. The aim was to create a social environment to encourage more black women to take up swimming.

BGSC is based in London, UK but we cover international stories, events, lessons and travel recommendations.
