Swim Sistas, the film

Swim Sistas is a documentary exploring 4 black women’s different relationships to water.

The short film features original poetry by the director, Catherine Joy White, narration by Naomie Harris as Mami Wata and focuses on the stories of ex-championship rugby player Jasmine Boatswain, young competitive swimmer Lexi Sandiford, 54 year old Roni Bruno who learned to swim at 54, and Olympic swimmer Alice Dearing.
