“Whether it’s some quiet from the noise of daily life or a way to feel truly present, we hope the open water continues to offer offer a little boost to your mental wellbeing.”

The annual open-water swimming race, Swim Serpentine, began in 2016 as a legacy event following the 2012 London Olympic Games–the triathlon and open-water swimming events were hosted at the Serpentine.

There are four distances to choose from: half mile, one mile, two miles and six miles (known as the Super Six). Participants aged 12+ can take part, and you can choose a charity to raise money for, or you can swim for yourself.
